Comic books for Black History Month

A few things I can recommend:

  • Martin Luther King and the Montgomery Story.
  • March by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell.
  • Black Panther Party by David F. Walker and Marcus Kwame Anderson. (March and Black Panther Party pair well together as they tell two sides of the same story.)

Unfortunately we’re not going to get to any of these this month for the Sewer Mutant podcast, but here are a few Black comic book creators and some notable works they did during or around the Dark Age of Comic Books:
